Matix Mini | Medicine Hat Family Photographer

We had a bit of a rough evening with this mini session. Matix did NOT want his picture taken and refused to look at me (I swear he liked me last time I saw him!). Little did he know, I have super fast reflexes and caught those split second moments of happiness! Mom and Dad, you can breathe a sigh of relief because we managed to get a bunch of great pictures of your handsome boy. These are some of my favorites!

Daniel&Skye-lindey Part 3 | Medicine Hat Wedding Photographer

I have been looking forward to this wedding since I met Skye-lindey and Daniel back in January! I had such a wonderful time with them at their engagement session and their wedding day proved to be even more enjoyable!
At times, I am know they wondered if things would work out with the flooding in Kin Coulee... but God was looking out for them and everything came together just right!
I fell in love with Skye's lace dress, the boys brown tux's, the girls soft coral dresses, Kelsey's hair, the tea cup reception favours, their game of crouquet with the bridal party... this list could go on and on! Their outdoor ceremony and reception location made for a very calm and enjoyable day! So many beautiful moments... these two obviously adore each other! Their friends and family obviously adore them as well (who wouldn't)! I couldn't have asked for a more delightful wedding couple, bridal party and family!
Thanks for letting me be a part of such a beautiful occasion! Getting to know you and your story has truly been a blessing!

Skye-lindey&Daniel | The Wedding Ceremony

Skye and Daniel's intimate wedding ceremony in Kin Coulee park, here in Medicine Hat. Friends and family participated with music, singing, readings and Daniel's father spoke a beautiful message. Definitely one of my favorite ceremonies yet!

Skye-Lindey&Daniel "First Look" | Medicine Hat Wedding Photographer

I am SOOOO excited to share with you the first of Skye and Daniel's wedding teasers! I met up with Skye and Daniel first thing the morning of their wedding, so that they could get their "first look" at each other before the festivities began! I loved being able to capture their reactions and obvious love for each other! I think its wonderful that they threw tradition out the window in exchange for a beautiful, intimate moment that they can cherish forever! Here are just a few images captured during this meeting. I absolutely loved everything about their relaxed, intimate wedding and I am bursting at the seams to show you more pictures! The Boys | Medicine Hat Child Photographer

These have to be two of the sweetest, well behaved boys I have ever worked with (even in the sweltering heat they had lots of smiles for me)! They are obviously loved a lot and it shows through their loving personalities and big grins! Though they are a few years apart, they show so much brotherly love for each other! Mom is going to have her hands full with this little charmer (no Ryan, I am referring to Madden)+ baby girl on the way! I am so happy for my friend that she is getting her long awaited princess! Watch out daddy... girls are very expensive with all the cute girly things a princess MUST have! Can't wait to meet her!

Wasyl&Chrystal Wedding Part 3

The day before this wedding I drove up to Saskatchewan in a torrential rain fall and while I pumped gas into my car I wished I had brought mittens. It didn't look good for the next day... we were all a bit nervous. It rained all night and all morning.... luckily it died off a bit in the afternoon. I tortured family and bridal party members in the chilly, wet and windy weather =) sorry! Just as we were finishing up the portraits, the sun came out and the rain stopped (go figure). Despite our luck we found shelter in the high school and under the trees and ended up getting a lot of fantastic photos! Thanks for being such good sports Wasyl and Chrystal! Congrats on your marriage and I hope your time in Vegas was a blast!
